Doteki Collection Catalogue

Following the creation of the Doteki brand identity, I designed a premium catalogue to introduce the collection through tactile storytelling and refined editorial structure. The catalogue extends the wabi-sabi philosophy into print — celebrating raw texture, negative space, and quiet elegance.

This piece serves as both a storytelling artifact and a sales tool, guiding retailers, partners, and customers into the emotional heart of the collection before presenting product detail.

Approach

  • Built a minimal, spacious editorial system reflecting stillness, imperfection, and natural rhythm
  • Integrated narrative language from the brand story — subtle, poetic, restrained
  • Highlighted textures, irregular surfaces, and material character through close-up photography and soft contrast layouts
  • Balanced emotional introduction with clear product communication:
    • lifestyle sequences
    • collection philosophy spreads
    • detailed product index with names, materials, and scale
  • Structured for both print and digital distribution using Figma

Visual Direction

  • Earth-driven palette and natural tones throughout
  • Quiet typography with breathing room and gentle pacing
  • Wide margins, soft shadows, and tactile photography to evoke touch
  • Asymmetrical layout moments reflecting organic form

Results

  • Served as a key storytelling asset during collection launch
  • Reinforced the design philosophy and emotional foundation of the Doteki brand
  • Provided sales partners and retailers with a refined presentation tool
  • Strengthened brand cohesion across product, story, and physical experience
